WEEK 53

HALF WAY!

Hey family!!

This week was also hard working because my companion is still hurt but we managed to make it work. We had divisions with a member so it was good. We found some really good people this week.
We found a girl and we were teaching and she asked us how we can found peace in this life. We explained that we can find this inner peace when we follow the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We had the zone conference this week and it was pretty good.

I completed a year and burned a shirt.

We played some ball today and it was way fun. We had a pretty sick group, we all play well.

On the down time we have we have played a little chess and I am getting pretty good.

This is the last week of the transfer so we will see if we have changes.

We should've had a baptism this week but she did not go to church so we will have that a different week.

Not too much this week. love you guys and stay safe

WEEK 52

Cumplo un año en la misión esta semana!!!

Hey so I almost have a year!! That is pretty crazy.

So crazy thing... I almost had to go back to the U.S. haha they messed up with my green card and so I had to sign a bunch of papers and then those papers got denied and had to sign more papers and this happened like 4 times haha. So I had to go to immigration with the secretaries. They finally accepted the papers but then they misspelled my name in a paper so they will send that in tomorrow and they will most likely accept it haha. so I will not be getting deported don't worry haha.

So my comp twisted his knee really bad and cant walk so it has been super hard to work. ...

We have an investigator named Beatriz and she is really good. She acepted baptism but still does not have a testimonio en el libro de mormon so we are waiting for that,. we are hoping to have the baptism this change.

That is about it.... love and miss you guys !

WEEK 51

casi un año

Hola familia!

So not too much to say this week.
I played basketball and soccer today. always super fun. I also played some pool for the first time in at least a year! so that was fun.

The daughter of the Fam. Garcia Quio came home from her mission and she has been helping us a lot with her family.

We had a lesson with some old investigators from old missionaries but the said that the missionaries gave her mom a blessing and that they felt that a light came into the room after the blessing and that they felt a lot of peace. Also in Priesthood class this Sunday the lesson was on the priesthood. It really is amazing that we have the authority and power of God here with us in the earth. This is something we shouldn't take for granted.

Love all of you!!
glad I'm not going to high school but sad that I can't play football.

WEEK 50

cambios especiales

Hola!
Pretty crazy about that fire!! And it is weird not going to the fair this year.

So this week was a little different. We got a call one day and they told us that we had special changes. So long story short is that I have a new comp. He is from Gurrero, Mexico. He is 19 and has 6 months in the mission. He was just in Politecnico "my first area I had" This area is hard and he was having problems in this area and his comp and he wanted to go home.. So he sent him with me to try to help him out.

There is a new elder in my district from Utah and he is struggling with his Spanish and it makes me remember my first few months. I had divisions with him.

We had a lesson with a new family of about 10 this week. At the end of the lesson one of them said " let's give them a hand for never breaking their character and for being such great young men" and they all started clapping haha.. that's a first.. I realized more of how much of a example we give to people.

So today we got invited to play sports with 2 different groups of people so we played for about 5-6 hours straight so I am pretty worn out haha.

I talked with Elder Ramirez!! Or Fernando haha but he came to my church and we talked for a little bit. He is super cool and we were talking about good ole Marsh Valley ! He loves you guys haha and g ma and g pa. He said the Bastian's was one of his favorite families in his whole mission so good job haha.. super cool to talk to him..

That's about it.. I love and miss you guys always

Siempre Sonrías :)
